Brigit Pierce

Brigit Pierce is a junior at UNC Chapel Hill double-majoring in Economics and English and Comparative Literature. She is passionate about utilizing research and data analysis to inform social policy and reduce inequalities, with interests in housing and health.
Brigit works at Carolina Demography through the John M. Belk Impact Fellowship, which aims to develop leaders in social impact. During the summer of 2025, Brigit worked at Carolina Demography through the Carolina Population Center internship, where she contributed to projects such as the NC Community College Databooks and wrote a blog about housing affordability.
Originally from Falls Church, Virginia, Brigit grew up as a third culture kid, living in seven countries over four continents.
