Research Analyst
Lisa Carlson is a family and economic demographer whose prior research has focused on how marriage, cohabitation, and fertility are associated with labor market outcomes. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Gothenburg, a Master’s degree in Economic Demography from Lund University, and a PhD in Sociology from Bowling Green State University. Prior to joining Carolina Demography she worked as a graduate research assistant at Bowling Green State University, most recently on a grant archiving county-level marriage and divorce statistics.
