Phil Gong is a senior at Duke University double majoring in Economics and Political Science with a minor in Literature. Phil has experience working with large data sets and conducting econometric analyses through his work experience in economic consulting. He is working at Carolina Demography as a John M. Belk Impact Fellow through the Hunt Institute, focusing on improving educational access and equity in North Carolina. At Carolina Demography, he conducts data analysis work, creating visuals and other products for the public and clients. He anticipates attending law school after graduation.
