Sarah Ulrich
Research Assistant
Sarah Ulrich is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Geography and Environment at UNC-Chapel Hill and a predoctoral trainee at the Carolina Population Center, where she also works as a Graduate Research Assistant for Carolina Demography. She holds an MA in Geography and Planning from Appalachian State University (2024) and a BA in Geography from UNC-Chapel Hill (2022). Her research applies spatial methods to investigate extreme heat, human mobility, and health outcomes. With Carolina Demography, she develops population-based models for healthcare workforce demand in North Carolina.
